Kellie started her non-profit career in the early 80s taking a position as Office Manager for a small non-profit. She attended college in Oklahoma for two years, married her college sweetheart, and started a family.
Kellie joined OHD in 1994 and began specializing in Advance Directive education. After talking with Oregonians and educators on a daily basis for more than 15 years, Kellie knew that the emphasis should not be on completing a form, but on creating a conversation. Simply completing an Advance Directive “document” and checking the boxes was not enough. People often times were confused and left wanting more information. Kellie has worked passionately over the past six years developing and implementing the KEYConversations™ Advance Directive education and training program for the state of Oregon.
Kellie continues to focus on program development, operations and special projects. Working closely with staff and OHD’s Board of Directors, she strives to educate and equip Oregonians to better understand their final health care choices.
Pattie has been with OHD since 2009. She was born and raised in Oregon. After a 16 year career in the dental field, Pattie agreed to come out of retirement to run the office. When you call OHD, it is most likely her friendly voice you will here. She keeps the office running smoothly and the Executive Director organized.
Outside of the office, Pattie enjoys spending time with family and friends, and crafting on the side.
